Michael M. Mwita

Mr. Michael Mwita is an advocate of over 10 years' experience and a member of the Law Society of Kenya. He was admitted to the Kenyan Bar on 1 April 2016.

He has been in private practice since admission to the Bar, save for a short period when he served as acting Legal and Compliance Manager at James Finlays (K) Ltd, a multinational organisation based in Kericho.

Mr. Mwita has been involved in conveyancing and litigation since commencing practice. He is experienced in drawing loan securities, legal securities, and trust deeds, and is well versed in conveyancing and land law.

He also handles civil litigation, especially before the Environment and Land Court, Employment and Labour Relations Court, and in children's adoption and general family law matters.

Mr. Mwita has been instrumental in employment matters within the Rift Valley belt, including negotiations of collective bargaining agreements for several tea and multinational factories.

He provides legal consultancy and training on employment matters and has handled complex disputes affecting employer-employee relationships before different fora.
